POVOADO is a multidisciplinary performing arts project that investigates the possibility and consequences of a contact between a village and a group of artists who come from outside and settle for a while, to build an experience with the population. They bring the desire for knowledge and dialogue with memory, with the inhabitants. The dances, the sounds, the images, the smells, the places transfigured by the reports will gradually stand out. From both sides are different materials that are thrown to the wind to weave, little by little, performative moments that, as they populate the village, gently write a new story, a fiction, a new tale for Abela.
