In this first half of the year, at Lavrar o Mar, we condensed an intense programme between April and July.
Work is the central theme of this programme, as it is intersects all the performances from Lavrar o Mar and our sibling programme Lavrar o Mira e a Lagoa
, as the name implies, this aspect is particularly evident, as it is a fantastic “do it yourself” workshop, full of colours, with nails, wood, lots of paint, tools and everyday gestures.
Between March and April we will host L’Attraction Céleste
with two performances in Alentejo and one in Algarve to take us to the limits of laughter and tears through tragic and wonderful clownish dramas.
Then in summer, to finish the programme with all force, it is essential to visit the Teatro de Palha (Straw Theatre)
. A completely new and unique open-air amphitheatre, designed by the architect Pedro Quintela, which over the course of five weeks will bring us a varied program of theatre, music, dance and an open-air photographic exhibition.
