The beginning of the performance "Urgência Climática," which will be performed at the Straw Theatre this Friday, July 5th, has been changed to 10:00 p.m. due to the broadcasting of the Euro 2024 football match between Portugal and France. The following day, July 6th, the performance will take place at the previously announced time of 9:30 p.m.
"Urgência Climática” (climate urgency) is the order of the day, as scientists attribute several natural disasters around the world to climate change. Several activists have called for urgent changes in our relationship with the planet, while governments insist on taking no action that could reverse the situation. This show brings the life stories of climate activists to the stage, looking at their personal histories, the beginnings of their struggles, their motivations, how this 'urgency' has changed their lives, how they live, what they do, what they want, what they dream of.
