15 to 29 apr — Odemira · Monchique · Aljezur
Emídio is the name of an illusionist. It is the name of the devil, of a lollipop, of a man on the run, of an artist. Emídio is the name of a grandfather, of a grandmother, and of a love that was a kind of faith.
EMÍDIO is what his grandson-writer tells us. It is a work about memory, about deceit, about art, about the limits of fiction. And it's about telling a lie in the best possible way so that it becomes the most beautiful of truths.
If I'm here. If I'm here to tell this story that broke lives into pieces. If I'm here it's because I really wanted to tell this story. Telling a story is an endless task.
