The French company Bêtes de Foire is back with 'Décrochez-moi-ça'. Under a tent, around a round circus ring, in an intimate setting and evolved by a suspended backdrop, the audience is invited to immerse themselves in a unique universe where antics and feats, small feats and the extraordinary, appearances and illusions go hand in hand.
In 'Décrochez-moi-ça', which in French means second-hand clothes shop, there will be bodies floating and swaying, solitary and magnificent. There will be hats manipulated by a man who is himself manipulated. There will be piles of coats, the undoing of jackets, heaps of overcoats, mackintoshes flying, the 'unravelling' of bodices, the unfolding of jackets and silks sliding. Violins, guitars, keyboards, percussions, unexpected objects, happy accidents, fanfare beings and orchestra bodies will be there.
A timeless, dreamlike circus that takes everyone's soul to the depths of humanity.
