This project uses cinematographic gastronomy as a theatrical creation mechanism. It is a project by Giacomo Scalisi (direction) and Rosário Pinheiro (chef), who, in collaboration and with the support the film Tampopo of the Japanese director Jûzô Itami (1985), create a theatrical experience that is designed with the involvement of the public in the making of a recipe that is contained in the film and full of peculiar ingredients, and will provide a very original and immersive interdisciplinary experience.
In 2022, the artists will carry out the first moment of this project, creating a true laboratory to research and elaborate the final solutions of the performance from a set of live experiences with the public that comes to participate and test the various ideas and proposals; being aware that they are contributing to the final performance of the following year.
In 2023 the creation will take the form of an immersive and multidisciplinary show.
