BIOGRAPHY
Alix Didier Sarrouy is a musician, performer and sociologist of art and culture. He seeks to explore and understand the interactions between human beings, and also between them and the objects that surround them, be they constructed or natural. He believes in the arts as a collective process and not just as a singular result.
THEME
We shall be human bodies walking through the nature of Monchique. We will let the five senses take care of the relationships between each other and with the mountains that welcome us on their slopes. The paths will consist of moments of encounter and of escape. From the soles of bare feet feeling the floor, to sky gazing with our chins facing upwards, we will be guided by stories, by reading (con)texts, by crossed looks. A chance to smell with your eyes, read with your ears and listen with your fingertips.
