Ai de Mim, Ai doEu… is the story of an ephemeral puppet made of clay and hands, who accidentally sheds its ego and haughtiness.
A solitary character, in a landscape of remnants, forced to live according to what they provide... Company, mishaps along the way, fears and other halves... So beautiful and so raw, a body of flesh, a Pinocchio already almost human. So sure of itself and its Self that it fails to see its own fragility.
What happens if it loses its form? Does it also lose its reason for being?
The puppet contemplates itself and cyclically metamorphoses into nothingness and, from nothingness, takes shape once again.
After each performance, the experience continues with a workshop combining construction and manipulation. Using gloves or socks, the group builds simple puppets inspired by Ai de Mim, Ai doEu… and experiments with manipulating them along a route through a structure placed beside the performance set.
