How do we live in a world in perpetual motion? TERCES is a visual laboratory set in a circus arena, where machines work alone, and forces never explored are revealed in objects without technology, moving with poetic or utopian energy. Johann Le Guillerm tries and risks to understand energy, movement, and what animates the matter that surrounds us, sometimes to the point of failure. It's an invitation to the viewer to take part in developing a thought rather than passively watching its realisation.
After 'Secret (temps 1)' in 2003 and 'Secret (temps 2)' in 2012, TERCES is the third mutation of a unique and unclassifiable work that Johann Le Guillerm has been working on since 2001, entitled 'Attraction'. It's an attempt to understand the world from a 360° perspective, developing different points of view on it, just like the circus ring itself.
