ESTA É A MINHA CIDADE E EU QUERO VIVER NELA is a project that starts from the city, from the experience that is built up in it day by day, from the sometimes painful daily life of the spaces, from the meanings that can be found in the most minor things, in people, behind a wall, a corner, a park bench, a closed door, a window ajar.

For this special edition produced as part of the Centenary of the City of Portimão, the Teatro do Vestido sets out to discover a city that is, in a way, foreign to it. The artists, led by their eyes, memories and questions, set out like blind men into a new city so they can come to want to live there, too. How do you discover a city?

After intensive research as part of an artistic residency in Portimão in June, the performers lead the audience through the streets, uncovering their memories while building a new city. All to make them want to live there, too. A poetic manifesto. An unusual experience about life in cities.
