Now that the drama of the fire settles in our memory, like a scar that we will always live with, it is possible for us to go back to the Medronho cycle, written by Afonso Cruz, and performed in its cathedrals and in the places from where it has not disappeared. We return once again to the story of Carlos, who they called The Bear, of his father and of his best friend – the famous schizophrenic – in the perspective of the lucid and mature eyes of the highlands’ women.
