THEME
A journey through the memory and history of southwestern Portuguese lands. The group will remember the times when this place was considered the end of the world, and the people who were kidnapped to be sold as slaves in North Africa. The Algarve, especially this western corner, was for a long time abandoned, particularly after the 1755 earthquake. From here many stories can be unfolded and can lead us to the present, to the contemporary world, and also to the spring equinox and, who knows, Stravinsky.
