Kaô: Lullabies of the World is a musical and poetic moment with actions and songs about the first steps and tempos in life. Based on songs transmitted from mother to child, from generation to generation, three women explore the strength of the female voice and polyphonic singing, in a theatre-music show with portuguese-speaking, ibero-american lull melodies which belong to all who allow themselves to be taken in the swing and sway of the sea… The indigenous word “Kaô” welcomes who arrives, in a concert staged to be heard and felt on the lap, under the sharpness of the child’s gaze connecting himself with the Mother-Earth surrounding him!
