The vegetable garden is for these two musicians a fertile studio. In their farm, words are like seeds. Songs are grown and wired up from plants and there are all kinds: pop, rock, modern songs that reveal the intimate stories of aubergines, bell peppers and courgettes as well as the gardener’s inner life. They also play secret tales dedicated to celebrities such as François Truffaut, David Byrne, Paul McCartney or Damon Albarn and their green fingers’.

This CONCIORTO | Veggie Dinner-Concert is quirky and humorous live concert where Bagini and Carlone use electronic technology Arduino (an Ototo board) to turn vegetables into edible instruments that accompany flutes, sax and guitars. And... to make it fully sustainable, Chef Gigi Gauterno from Várzea | Horta & Bistrot | Aljezur then prepares an exquisite vegetarian menu that will let the music playing in everyone’s belly.
