Pasta e Basta, an italian mambo is a culinary theatrical piece that emerges from the need to find an art form to address the intercultural realities present in the daily life of our towns and in the food we eat. A gripping hands-on participatory theatrical piece that combines storytelling, pasta making and cooking, in which the public eats its own creation on stage.

This Algarvian version adapted for the project Lavrar o Mar in partnership with the local Festival da Batata Doce de Aljezur includes new, local and typical ingredients such as Sweet Potato from Aljezur and Sausages from Monchique. The new dishes are designed in a close dialogue with a local farmer and an italian chef.
